Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a dynamic and rapidly growing company dedicated to providing exceptional living environments for seniors across more than 60 communities nationwide. As a family-owned organization, RLC places a strong emphasis on fostering a supportive and inclusive culture that reflects its core values of Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence. This commitment shapes how the company operates and interacts with residents, employees, and the greater community, creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere akin to a close-knit family. RLC’s mission goes beyond simply providing housing – it is about enriching the lives of seniors and enabling them to thrive in a comfortable, resort-style environment.
The culture at RLC nurtures happy employees as much as it prioritizes happy residents, aiming for full occupancy and on-budget operations to ensure sustainable success. Employees at RLC don’t just perform their job functions; they actively contribute to creating an environment where residents feel at home, valued, and cared for. The company invests in its workforce by providing employee discounts, pay-on-demand options, and supportive leadership, all within an engaging and purpose-driven workplace.
The role of a Part-Time Housekeeper at Resort Lifestyle Communities is an opportunity to be a vital part of this mission. This position is not limited to basic cleaning tasks; it encompasses creating a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment that significantly impacts the lives of the residents. Housekeepers at RLC develop meaningful relationships with residents, learning their individual preferences and adjusting their cleaning approach accordingly. This personalization reflects RLC’s dedication to service excellence and resident satisfaction.
Working part-time from Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 12:30pm, the housekeeper’s duties include routine cleaning of residents’ apartments and shared community spaces. Responsibilities extend to vacuuming, mopping, dusting, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, changing linens, emptying trash, and handling seasonal upkeep such as window washing and HVAC filter maintenance. Deep cleaning after residents move out ensures vacant units remain pristine and ready for new occupants, while model apartments and guest suites also receive thorough preparation and care.
Safety and organization are paramount, with housekeepers required to use only approved cleaning products and maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas methodically. The role requires basic English communication skills and experience in hospitality, commercial, or residential housekeeping settings is preferred but not mandatory. Importantly, RLC fosters a culture where servant-hearted individuals can thrive, making this role ideal for those who find meaning in serving and enriching the lives of seniors.
Joining RLC as a Part-Time Housekeeper means engaging in a purpose-driven role within a beautiful resort-style community, supported by leaders who value your contributions and growth. It is more than a job; it’s a pathway to making a daily difference while working in a vibrant, respectful, and compassionate environment. If you are motivated by service, enjoy maintaining cleanliness and organization, and are ready to be part of a team that truly cares, this position at Resort Lifestyle Communities offers a rewarding career with meaningful impact.
