Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED desirable
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, residents, and family members
  • Able to make routine decisions requiring minimal judgment affecting internal department
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical examination completed by nurse practitioner
  • Pass background check
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours
  • Dependability and strong customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in assisted living or memory care is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions in assigned areas including resident rooms and common areas
  • Assure appropriate caution and safety signs are set up properly
  • Ensure work and assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored at all times
  • Keep supervisor informed of supply needs
  • Assist with laundry duties as directed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
