Job Description
Autumn Embers is a premier senior living community dedicated to providing a comforting and supportive environment for older adults. Our mission centers around enhancing the quality of life for our residents through compassionate care, engaging activities, and a strong sense of community. We are proud to be part of The Pennant Group, Inc., a holding company of independent subsidiaries that deliver healthcare services including home health, hospice agencies, and senior living communities across the United States. Each business under The Pennant Group operates independently, with its own management team and assets, ensuring tailored care and attention to the unique needs of each community. More information about The Pennant Group can be found at www.pennantgroup.com.
We are currently seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team of professionals committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, their families, and our community. At Autumn Embers, we live by our CAPLICO Core Values: Celebration, Accountability, Passion for Learning, Love One Another, Intelligent Risk Taking, Customer Second (Employee First!), and Ownership. These values guide everything we do and form the foundation of our workplace culture.
The Housekeeper role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests. This position requires efficient, timely, and friendly service while performing daily cleaning tasks across various areas including resident rooms, common spaces, restrooms, offices, and wellness areas. Maintaining community and regulatory standards for cleanliness and infection control is critical to the well-being of everyone in the facility.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a positive customer service attitude, embody adaptability and flexibility in response to changing resident needs, and exhibit personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision. Reliability in work attendance and consistent completion of duties are necessary for thriving in this role. Communication skills are also important, as the Housekeeper will need to report resident concerns to management promptly while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information involving residents and staff.
Appearance matters in this position, so presenting yourself with a neat and clean look at all times is expected. Training or experience equivalent to one to three months in related roles is required. This is a part-time opportunity that offers a unique chance to contribute to a caring community and grow within a values-driven company that puts employees first. If you are passionate about serving others and want to be part of a team that prioritizes integrity, respect, and growth, Autumn Embers invites you to apply.
