This job opening is for a part-time Housekeeper position located at THR Burleson at 2750 Southwest Wilshire Boulevard, Burleson, TX 76028. The role offers a fixed pay rate of $16.00 per hour. The schedule includes varied days and hours primarily covering 2nd and 3rd shifts, with more detailed timing provided during the interview. While prior housekeeping experience is preferred, Crothall offers training to help new hires acquire the necessary skills. The Housekeeper will perform light cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and order in healthcare establishments such as hospitals. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing floors, cleaning fixtures, and responding promptly to cleaning requests or problems. The job emphasizes attention to detail, quality customer service, and professionalism in working with guests and team members. Team efforts and maintaining high cleanliness standards are vital parts of this role. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior housekeeping experience preferred
  • ability to work part-time schedule including varied days and hours
  • physical ability to perform light cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and handling cleaning equipment
  • ability to respond promptly to cleaning requests and problems
  • ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • pass background screening if applicable
  • maintain drug-free status

Job Duties

  • Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail
  • sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors
  • vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
  • shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
  • dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
  • cleans metal fixtures and fittings
  • empties and cleans trash containers
  • disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
  • cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
  • wipes down glass surfaces
  • makes up beds and changes linens as required
  • realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
  • responds to guest queries and requests
  • responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses
  • contributes to team efforts
  • exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others
  • performs other duties as assigned
