Known for its modern and luxurious accommodations, Maplewood Senior Living goes beyond just offering a residence—it fosters a warm, supportive environment where seniors can enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle while feeling safe and cared for. The community focuses on combining comfort, care, and a sense of family to ensure that each resident experiences the best possible living experience. Established as a forward-thinking provider, Maplewood emphasizes innovation and compassion in senior care, creating programs and services that cater to the unique needs of its residents. Their state-of-the-art facilities provide not only a home but also a vibrant atmosphere where seniors can thrive and feel a meaningful connection to others.
At Maplewood Senior Living, the workplace culture is built on values such as respect, empathy, and dedication, fostering an environment where employees feel motivated and valued. The company firmly believes that by caring for its staff and encouraging personal growth, it can deliver superior care to its residents. This commitment to excellence is reflected in their ongoing investment in employee development and a work environment that appreciates passion and a genuine desire to help others.
The role of a Housekeeper at Maplewood Senior Living is both vital and rewarding. As a member of the housekeeping team, the housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the community for residents, their families, staff members, and visitors. The position is part-time, requiring availability for two days a week, and offers a competitive salary. This role is suited for individuals who take pride in their attention to detail and enjoy contributing to a clean and healthy environment.
Housekeepers at Maplewood Senior Living perform a wide range of duties focused on ensuring that both private apartments and communal areas are spotless and orderly. Their responsibilities include cleaning resident apartments thoroughly, sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces, and taking special care when handling residents' personal belongings. Additionally, housekeepers maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, stairs, and activity rooms, ensuring that these shared spaces are welcoming and hygienic.
The role also involves practical tasks such as washing and drying residents' personal laundry and linens, restocking housekeeping supplies, safely handling cleaning chemicals, and promptly responding to housekeeping requests and concerns. In addition, housekeepers are required to complete monthly in-service education to stay up-to-date with state regulations and company policies related to housekeeping and safety protocols.
This housekeeper position invites candidates who are physically capable of performing the demanding tasks required, including bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling equipment, and standing for extended periods. Experience working with seniors is preferred, as is the ability to remain sensitive and respectful toward the needs of elderly residents.
Joining Maplewood Senior Living as a housekeeper means becoming part of a compassionate community dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of seniors. This role offers not just a job but an opportunity to be part of something bigger—a community that values dedication and heartfelt service. Employees here enjoy flexible work schedules, opportunities for personal and professional growth, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time positions. If you are driven by a desire to help others and want to work in a supportive and employee-focused environment, Maplewood Senior Living is an ideal place to grow your career.
