Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to perform physical activities including lifting and standing for extended periods
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
- ability to complete required training

Job Duties
- Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates
- cleans assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards, policies and procedures
- ensures housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas are maintained to company standards
- stocks carts and cart rooms as necessary or directed by management
- reports maintenance issues directly to front desk or manager on duty
- reports any remaining guest property in checked-out rooms
- assists with guest requests when possible and practical
- complies with all safety and security policies and procedures
- completes all required and annual Extended Stay University training
- assists with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned including breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells and common areas
- maintains overall hotel cleanliness
- performs other duties as assigned by management
