We are currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team. This position is scheduled for weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering an opportunity to become an essential part of our community care services. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in residences, apartments, and houses within the Westminster Oaks community. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety and hygiene standards, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

The Housekeeper’s responsibilities include cleaning residential units, residents’ rooms, and common areas, including stairwells, ensuring a safe and pleasant living environment for all residents. The role also involves sanitizing Health Center rooms both after move-outs and before move-ins to uphold the highest sanitation standards. Additionally, the Housekeeper will be responsible for bringing used protectors to the laundry area after each meal and ensuring dining areas are cleaned and sanitized at least twice daily.

Daily duties include cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming assigned work areas, as well as managing garbage removal, including biohazardous waste handled by contracted vendors. The Housekeeper will also perform cleaning duties contracted by independent residents, further contributing to a well-maintained and hygienic environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least a high school education or equivalent and some related experience or training, preferably working with older adults in a healthcare setting for a minimum of six months.
