Job Description

Peterson Health is looking for a PRN Environmental Services Technician to join its team. This position is a part-time, as-needed role, ideal for individuals who are flexible and able to work on demand based on the hospital's needs. The minimum pay rate for this position is $14.00 per hour. The Environmental Services Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the hospital, which is essential for patient safety and overall care quality.

In this role, the technician will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining various areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, guest rooms, bathrooms, lavatories, halls, food service areas, and offices. This ensures a safe, sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors alike. The technician supports the hospital's mission by providing meticulous cleaning services that uphold the highest standards of service at all times. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to quality customer service.

Job Duties

  • clean offices, patient rooms, guest rooms, bathrooms, lavatories, halls, food service areas, and patient service areas
  • maintain the highest quality of service to customers at all times
  • follow cleaning schedules and protocols
  • ensure hospital areas meet hygiene and sanitation standards
  • report any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning
  • handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively
  • comply with hospital infection control policies
