Job Duties

  • Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area including patient rooms and common areas
  • participates in all cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
  • keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies like paper towels and toilet paper
  • responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
  • maintains good customer relations at all times
  • may sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens
  • complies with safety principles, laws, and regulations related to healthcare cleaning standards
