Job Duties
- Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area including patient rooms and common areas
- participates in all cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
- keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies like paper towels and toilet paper
- responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
- maintains good customer relations at all times
- may sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens
- complies with safety principles, laws, and regulations related to healthcare cleaning standards
