Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to work specified hours including every other weekend and holiday
- visual acuity adequate to perform duties
- effective communication skills
- ability to hear and distinguish speech and other sounds
- ability to work in a team
- compliance with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards

Job Duties
- Maintains a clean and neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, offices, nurses' stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, stairwells, and lobbies
- participates in assigned cleaning activities such as cleaning walls, ceilings, vents, lights, baseboards, windows, glass, and replacing light bulbs
- maintains clean floor surfaces through dusting, buffing, scrubbing, striping, sealing, waxing, extracting, and vacuuming
- disposes of all trash including pickup, boxing, shredding, and maintaining cleanliness of trash receptacles
- participates in relocation of office and hospital furniture and equipment as necessary
