Job Requirements
- One year of relevant experience
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Minimum age of 18 years
- CPR, CPI, and First Aid certification required
- Pass physical examination and tuberculosis testing
- Clear criminal background checks
- Valid driver’s license if driving is required
- Motor vehicle clearance and proof of auto insurance if driving
- Must maintain certifications throughout employment
Job Qualifications
- One year of relevant experience in hotel, motel, healthcare, or similar environment
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow written and verbal directions
- CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certification at or within 60 days of employment
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Successful completion of physical exam, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, criminal background checks, and other regulatory requirements
- Preferred experience in healthcare settings
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
Job Duties
- Demo...te the Telecare mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday interactions
- Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, stripping, washing, and shampooing floors
- Clean and dust furniture, closets, telephone areas, and vents
- Sanitize sinks, counters, stainless steel surfaces, and waste receptacles
- Empty waste receptacles and transport medical waste to the outside storeroom as directed
- Wash windows and walls, including removing draperies and rugs when needed
- Wash cleaning cloths and linens as directed
- Gather and return cleaning supplies and equipment
- Distribute clean laundry to nursing staff and collect dirty laundry for pickup
- Report defective equipment or repair needs
- Follow facility fire, disaster, and safety procedures
- Assist clinical staff with managing assaultive behavior when requested
- Report fire and accident hazards to the supervisor
