The Housekeeper role is integral to achieving this mission. Working under the guidance of the Environmental Services Manager, the Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the entire facility, from individual resident rooms to shared common spaces. This position demands attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a dedication to upholding cleanliness policies and procedures to create a safe, inviting, and homelike atmosphere. Whether ensuring resident rooms are sanitized or that communal areas are tidy and cheerful, the Housekeeper’s contribution significantly impacts the overall resident experience and satisfaction. This role not only requires adherence to strict hygiene standards but also the ability to work efficiently within a team to promote a healthy environment conducive to recovery and comfort.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or related experience
  • Ability to understand and follow cleaning protocols
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning duties
  • Reliable transportation is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical handling
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Clean resident rooms and common areas according to established protocols
  • Follow cleaning services policies and procedures diligently
  • Maintain a safe and homelike environment throughout the facility
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Environmental Services Manager
  • Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
  • Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies
  • Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies
