Job Description

Gallaher Signature Living is a distinguished leader in the senior living industry, renowned for its dedication to redefining the concept of aging well. With a foundation built on compassion, elegance, and a commitment to excellence, Gallaher Signature Living operates boutique active adult living communities across California, including locations in Santa Rosa, Alameda, Moorpark, and Covina. These communities cater to active adults by offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services, all delivered in thoughtfully designed environments that promote a high quality of life. The company’s support office is based in Windsor, California, and it emphasizes personalized experiences that enrich daily life and foster meaningful connections among residents. Gallaher Signature Living is committed to attracting forward-thinking professionals who share a passion for shaping the future of senior living and providing unparalleled service.

The Housekeeper role at Gallaher Signature Living plays a pivotal part in maintaining the luxurious ambiance and ensuring the comfort and well-being of residents within these boutique active adult living communities. This position is essential for preserving the elegance and impeccable standards expected in a luxury living environment. Housekeepers serve as trusted custodians of residents’ homes and shared community spaces, approaching their work with hospitality-focused professionalism, discretion, and respect. The role adheres strictly to California Title 22 regulations and all relevant health and safety standards while remaining non-caregiving in nature, emphasizing environmental upkeep rather than direct resident care. With a competitive pay range of $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on prior experience, and a consistent schedule from Saturday to Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the position offers stability within a community-oriented workplace.

Housekeepers at Gallaher Signature Living are responsible for maintaining an exceptional level of cleanliness and presentation in resident apartments, common areas, offices, and amenity spaces, ensuring these areas reflect the refined standards of a luxury community. Duties include laundering culinary uniforms, performing occasional sewing, and processing residents’ requests with responsiveness and courtesy. The role also involves complying with stringent infection control and chemical handling protocols to safeguard health and safety. Housekeepers support special events by preparing, setting up, and cleaning spaces to meet elevated aesthetics and service expectations.

Collaboration is key in this role, as housekeepers work closely with the Maintenance Director and Housekeeping Supervisor to uphold environmental safety and regulatory compliance. They oversee housekeeping storage and supply areas, ensuring they are clean, organized, and inspection-ready. An important aspect of the role includes vigilance in identifying and reporting unsafe conditions or maintenance concerns promptly to leadership, always maintaining residents’ privacy, dignity, and personal preferences.

This position also involves participating in emergency preparedness protocols and fostering a welcoming and gracious community atmosphere through respectful interaction with residents, families, guests, and coworkers. Gallaher Signature Living emphasizes professional growth and operational excellence, providing extensive employer training, opportunities for career advancement, and a supportive work environment that values each team member’s contribution to the community’s success. Embracing diversity and equal opportunity, Gallaher Signature Living maintains a workplace that is inclusive, equitable, and free from unlawful discrimination, making it an ideal employer for those seeking a meaningful and rewarding career in luxury senior living hospitality.
