This position is for a Housekeeping professional at one of Plymouth's largest employers, an integral part of the healthcare community. This opportunity allows you to work every other weekend, providing a balanced work-life schedule along with benefits prorated for part-time employees.
As a Housekeeping team member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of clinical and departmental areas within the hospital. Your contributions help create a safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals alike. You will be responsible for cleaning assigned areas, sanitizing equipment, assisting with function setups, handling bed moves, and managing housekeeping supplies. Additionally, your duties will include collecting soiled linens from various clinical locations and ensuring their proper transport to designated distribution points. This position requires adherence to hospital and infection control protocols, which are essential for patient safety and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Joining BILH means becoming part of a healthcare organization that values diversity, collaboration, and ongoing learning. The employer offers excellent benefits including paid vacation, sick time, holiday pay, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 403B retirement plan with company match, basic life insurance, and flexible spending accounts. Employees also have access to an Employee Assistance Program and tuition assistance opportunities. This role supports both professional growth and personal well-being in a highly respected healthcare network.
