The Housekeeper position at Parkwest is a full-time role requiring 80 hours per pay period, predominantly covering night shifts. The primary responsibilities involve maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital and associated buildings. This position is critical to the hospital's operations, ensuring that patients, visitors, and staff experience a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Housekeepers at Parkwest follow established policies and procedures to clean and sanitize rooms and furnishings meticulously. They also manage supply stocking in areas such as restrooms and various hospital rooms, ensuring all necessary materials are available to support hospital functions. Beyond routine cleaning, housekeepers play an essential role in emergency response by assisting in the cleaning of spills as they occur or upon request. Waste management is an integral part of this role, including the correct handling and disposal of soiled linens and biohazardous materials in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. This position requires a high degree of vigilance and personal responsibility, as housekeepers complete personal inspections of all work performed to ensure compliance and quality.
