The role of Housekeeper I at Southlake Campus is integral to maintaining the hospital's sanitary conditions. This position, available for both full-time and part-time employment, operates under the leadership of the Housekeeping Manager. The primary responsibility is comprehensive cleaning and upkeep throughout the hospital, encompassing entryways, hallways, offices, patient rooms, and other critical areas. This individual plays a vital part in infection control by ensuring that all spaces remain hygienic and orderly.

Housekeeper I will engage in a variety of cleaning duties such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping, as well as more detailed tasks including cleaning light fixtures, ceilings, vents, mattresses, furniture, window coverings, floors, and carpets. The role also involves replenishing supplies, moving furniture, hanging draperies, and setting up tables and chairs when necessary. Beyond cleaning, this position requires promoting a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude at all times. Following organizational policies and efficiently managing hospital resources like time, supplies, and equipment are essential.

The successful candidate will have a background in hospital housekeeping or a related environment, ideally with at least one year of experience. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, outlining the baseline educational requirement for the position. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
