Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior housekeeping experience preferred
Ability to follow cleaning schedules and protocols
Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Good communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Commitment to hospital mission, vision, and values

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
Housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Ability to perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties in assigned areas
Maintain a high level of cleanliness according to established procedures
Demonstrate essential technical and motor skills necessary for effective cleaning
Strong attention to detail and reliability

Job Duties

Create a clean and safe environment in assigned areas
Clean designated and assigned areas including damp dusting, trash removal, cleaning and scouring sinks and stools
Perform dry and wet mopping of hard surfaced floors
Vacuum carpeting and upholstery
Wash windows, door frames, and other vertical surfaces
Stock paper items and maintain cleaning cart and equipment in contained, clean, and working condition
Report directly to the Environmental Services Manager
