Job Requirements

  • knowledge of commercial sanitation standards
  • familiarity with OSHA regulations
  • ability to perform medical-grade cleaning methods
  • understanding of infection control techniques
  • two or more years of professional housekeeping experience
  • ability to speak and write English fluently
  • basic computer proficiency
  • physical ability to push and lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to walk, stand, or work in bent position for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum two years of housekeeping experience
  • experience in senior care facility housekeeping preferred
  • knowledge of commercial sanitation standards
  • understanding of OSHA regulations
  • proficiency in cleaning and infection control techniques
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • basic computer skills

Job Duties

  • perform cleaning duties in assigned rooms
  • vacuum and dust common areas and resident apartments
  • change linens and tidy bathrooms
  • respond promptly to residents cleaning requests
  • comply with sanitation, safety, and infection control standards
  • prioritize work order as directed by supervisor
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of senior living community
