Job Description
Our facility is a dedicated healthcare and long-term care center committed to providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. We prioritize health and well-being in every aspect of our operations, maintaining an orderly space that supports the highest quality of care. As a trusted community institution, we emphasize not only medical and personal care but also the overall environment in which our services are delivered. Our staff work collaboratively to ensure that every corner of our facility promotes safety and comfort, reflecting our values of respect, compassion, and excellence.
The Housekeeper plays a vital role in sustaining this mission. This position is crucial in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout our facility. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing various areas including resident rooms, bathrooms, public spaces, and common areas like lobbies and restrooms. Through consistent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols, the Housekeeper helps prevent the spread of germs and creates a welcoming atmosphere. This role demands physical stamina, as it involves frequent walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive cleaning tasks, and requires the ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
Beyond daily cleaning duties, the Housekeeper serves as an essential observer within the facility, promptly reporting any safety concerns related to residents to supervisory staff. This position requires excellent time management skills, a positive attitude, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team. Candidates should be detail-oriented and able to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, contributing significantly to the health and comfort of all who live, work, or visit the center. While no supervisory responsibilities are associated with this role, strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset are vital components to effectively supporting the facility's operational goals.
