Job Duties
- Perform planned preventive maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces
- turn and inspect mattresses and box springs
- assemble bed frames
- vacuum behind and under furniture
- remove stains from carpets and upholstery
- dust and touch up paint
- ensure all fixtures and appliances are present and functional
- replace lighting fixtures
- inspect grout and caulking
- maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms according to procedures
- perform minor miscellaneous repairs such as adjusting loose toilet seats, changing bulbs, and patching walls
- conduct general cleaning of all guest room surfaces including tubs, tiles, floors, walls, windows, and mirrors
- report serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards to management immediately
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- attend safety training and obtain certifications
- maintain a clean and professional appearance
- protect company confidentiality and property
- greet and recognize guests according to company standards
- anticipate and respond to guest service needs
- develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
- adhere to quality standards and expectations
- perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, twisting, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, assisting with heavier loads, and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested
