We are currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our team, working the 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. shift, which includes an every-third-weekend rotation. This role is vital to ensuring that the care center remains clean, safe, and comfortable for all residents, visitors, and staff members. The Housekeeper will be responsible for various cleaning duties, including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and staff work zones. They will perform routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows and walls, polishing, and scrubbing to uphold hygiene standards. The Housekeeper will also be responsible for re-stocking housekeeping carts and dispensers, maintaining equipment safety, and assisting with dining room clean-up when necessary.

The position requires adherence to infection control protocols, facility policies, and safety guidelines, particularly when handling cleaning equipment and chemicals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare colleagues. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and previous experience in healthcare or long-term care settings is preferred but not mandatory. Compensation for this role starts competitively from $16 to $17.92 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Additional shift premiums and differentials may also be available.
