The Housekeeper role at Harmony is an essential position dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness and overall hygiene of both common living areas and individual resident apartments. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual responsible for overseeing the cleaning of the entire facility with particular focus on areas such as apartment bathrooms and common areas, including offices and communal spaces. The Housekeeper must complete maintenance request reports when necessary and promptly report any deterioration or damage to the building and furnishings to the housekeeping supervisor. Using only approved cleaning products, the person in this position is expected to ensure that all cleaning supplies are safely and properly stored at all times.
In addition to performing standard cleaning duties such as dusting furniture and window blinds, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms, the Housekeeper will operate laundry equipment as needed and assist with apartment clean-ups during resident move-outs. Maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of residents is paramount, and the Housekeeper must adhere to all policies regarding the release of resident information. Effective communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions are critical for success in this role.

Job Duties
- Clean common living areas and resident apartments
- Oversee cleaning of entire facility with emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms
- Complete maintenance request reports when needed
- Report deterioration or damage to building and furnishings to housekeeping supervisor
- Operate laundry equipment when needed
- Report inadequate supply quantities to housekeeping supervisor
- Use only approved cleaning products and store supplies properly
- Clean office areas when assigned
- Dust and clean window blinds, furniture, and bookshelves in community and apartments
- Vacuum common areas and resident apartments
- Maintain cleanliness of common area and resident bathrooms
- Clean apartments at resident move-out
- Attend required in-services and staff meetings
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality
- Follow policies regarding release of resident information
