Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency preferred
Previous custodial experience preferred
Ability to lift 50lbs following appropriate safety procedures
Ability to work in upright standing position for long periods
Ability to crawl in small and tight spaces
Ability to work in various environmental conditions such as heat, cold, wind and rain
Ability to walk and climb stairs
Ability to handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment
Ability to reach with hands and arms
Ability to navigate property and building quickly and easily
Ability to repeat various motions with wrists, hands and fingers
Ability to respond to emergencies timely
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 3 feet

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency preferred
Previous custodial experience preferred
Multiple language fluency is desirable
Strong customer service skills
Strong communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties

Perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning
Inform supervisor of needed supplies
Maintain cleaning solutions according to OSHA requirements
Remove trash and assist in emergency cleaning
Properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures
Maintain a friendly and professional attitude
Inspect assigned areas daily and report cleaning and maintenance issues
Ensure security procedures are adhered to
Follow all safety precautions while performing work
Complete daily work orders as scheduled
Maintain appropriate levels of sanitary and cleaning supplies
Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition
Clean restrooms including floors, dispensers, toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, counters and remove trash
Report discrepancies or deficiencies to supervisor
