Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a fast-growing, family-owned organization that operates over 60 resort-style senior living communities across the nation. At RLC, serving seniors is not just a job—it's a calling that drives every member of the team to deliver exceptional care and service. The company champions a culture based on core values of Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence. These guiding principles foster a close-knit, servant-hearted community dedicated to enhancing the lives of residents and creating a warm, welcoming environment for everyone involved.
RLC emphasizes a strong commitment to four essential goals that shape the success of its communities and the overall organization: ensuring happy employees, fostering happy residents, maintaining full occupancy, and delivering on-budget operations. This holistic approach ensures that both team members and residents benefit from a positive, thriving living environment with a focus on sustainability and quality service.
The role of a Full-Time Housekeeper at Resort Lifestyle Communities is vital and rewarding. This position goes far beyond basic cleaning duties, focusing instead on maintaining a comfortable and homely atmosphere for senior residents. Housekeepers at RLC play an important part in the daily lives of residents by creating a clean, safe, and inviting living space where seniors feel valued and cared for. A key aspect of the role involves building meaningful relationships with residents, as well as with fellow team members and guests, fostering a sense of community and trust.
Housekeepers are responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks in residents' apartments and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are tidy and well-maintained in accordance with individualized resident preferences and community standards. Regular duties include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, changing linens, and managing trash disposal. Seasonal tasks such as window washing, patio cleaning, and HVAC filter changes are also part of the routine, reflecting the comprehensive scope of care provided.
Additionally, this role requires preparing apartments for new residents, performing deep cleans after move-outs, and maintaining model apartments and guest suites. Careful attention is given to using approved cleaning products and adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) safety guidelines to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Housekeepers also manage housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner, and handle linens promptly and properly.
This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, offering a structured and balanced work schedule. RLC offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees’ health, financial wellbeing, and work-life balance. Benefits include a $341 benefit stipend per pay period which can be applied toward health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, health savings and flexible spending accounts, accident and hospital indemnity plans, as well as legal and identity theft protection.
Employees at RLC enjoy paid time off and participate in a 401(k) plan with employer match, reinforcing the company’s investment in the long-term success and satisfaction of its team. By joining RLC, individuals become part of a supportive leadership team and work in a beautiful, resort-style environment that values purpose-driven roles where making a difference every day is encouraged. This is a unique opportunity to bring a servant's heart to a workplace that feels like family and to contribute positively to the lives of seniors in a meaningful way.
