The company fosters a culture built on caring for people and creating a true sense of belonging, empowering employees to transform healthcare experiences while building lasting relationships across various service areas such as Environmental Services, Patient Transportation, Healthcare Technology Solutions, and more.
Located at ThedaCare Regional Cancer Center in Appleton, Wisconsin, Crothall is actively hiring full-time housekeepers for its environmental services team. This position involves working primarily in a healthcare setting, specifically at a renowned regional cancer center, where cleanliness and sanitation are paramount. The role’s schedule is typically 5:00 pm to 1:30 am, with hours and days varying to include weekends and holidays. During this time, housekeepers play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
As a housekeeper at Crothall Healthcare, you will be responsible for performing light cleaning duties to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. These tasks include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning patient rooms and common areas such as hallways, and vacuuming carpets and rugs. Your attention to detail will make a direct impact on the comfort and safety of healthcare environments. This job provides an opportunity to work with a dedicated team that values professionalism, customer service, and teamwork in a meaningful setting that helps improve the lives of patients and the wider community.
Crothall offers an hourly pay range of $16.50 to $18.00 for this full-time role, which reflects the company's recognition of the critical importance of environmental services within healthcare. Notably, prior housekeeping and sanitizing experience is preferred but not required, as the company is willing to provide training to qualified candidates who demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic. This flexibility highlights Crothall's commitment to supporting employee growth and development.
The job also emphasizes essential responsibilities such as responding promptly to guest queries and housekeeping problems, including spill cleanup and addressing broken glass, ensuring a safe environment for all. Employees contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism in their interactions with customers, fellow associates, and others. Crothall maintains a drug-free workplace and is an equal opportunity employer, promoting fairness and inclusiveness regardless of race, national origin, sex, age, disability, or other protected classifications.
Additionally, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package for eligible full-time team members, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits, and wellness programs, among others. These benefits reinforce Crothall's focus on employee health and well-being, making it an attractive option for those seeking a stable career in healthcare support services.
