The Maid Service Attendant position at Global Connections to Employment, located at the Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson Air Force Base in Anchorage, AK, plays a critical role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene per Air Force Lodging Standards. This role is essential in delivering quality housekeeping services to our customers at all times in a safe and efficient manner. The Maid Service Attendant must be knowledgeable and willing to learn various housekeeping tasks as assigned by management, ensuring that the environments remain welcoming and comfortable. The position requires flexibility with work schedules, which may include early mornings, mid-mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and demands physical stamina due to the nature of the duties involved.

The compensation for this role is competitive, with an hourly rate of $25.08, reflecting the value and importance of the services provided. This role requires the ability to interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and team members, highlighting the importance of excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Maid Service Attendant will work indoors primarily but may also travel to various locations and buildings under varying weather conditions. Physical demands include activities such as bending, crouching, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching above head, sitting (primarily for driving), and lifting weights up to 40 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
