This Environmental Services role primarily involves performing daily cleaning tasks across various areas such as patient and resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, educational facilities, restrooms, offices, and clinic areas. The person in this role will be responsible for adhering to established standard operating procedures designed to meet facility standards and organizational objectives, ensuring a hygienic and safe milieu conducive to healthcare delivery. This role demands conscientious attention to detail, proper use of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment, and commitment to following health and safety protocols. Training will be provided initially, with expectations for the incumbent to demonstrate proper techniques and efficient resource utilization. Additionally, the candidate must show a firm commitment to compliance with the companys standards, including adherence to the Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, reflecting both ethical workplace behavior and regulatory requirements. This includes promptly reporting any suspected compliance issues to the designated Compliance Officer. Job Requirements

  • Completed initial training for cleaning supplies and equipment usage
  • Willingness to comply with all UHS policies and procedures including compliance program
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to cleaning duties
  • Attendance and participation in required training sessions
  • Ability to report compliance concerns or issues
  • Strong attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to utilize supplies, tools and equipment properly after initial training
  • Commitment to and adherence with the Compliance Program and Code of Conduct
  • Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior in the workplace
  • Experience working in healthcare or related cleaning environments is preferred
  • Good communication skills to report and document issues properly
