Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year related experience or training
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk and hear
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently
  • Ability to occasionally climb or balance
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to follow written or oral instructions
  • Willingness to be essential personnel during emergencies
  • Ability to work in a safe manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Compliance with attendance and dress code policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year related experience or training
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions
  • Ability to write simple correspondence

Job Duties

  • Follow established cleaning schedule
  • Complete daily dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping of all common areas
  • Follow schedule for deep cleaning of resident rooms
  • Clean administrative offices as scheduled
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms
  • Clean carpets and mop floors upon request
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents
  • Support a dignified and caring atmosphere
  • Respond promptly and courteously to requests
  • Interact with residents with empathy and respect
  • Communicate effectively with residents
  • Maintain safe working environment
  • Report safety hazards to supervisor
  • Assist associates when needed
  • Know and follow emergency policies
  • Be essential personnel during emergencies
  • Work as a team player
  • Demonstrate positive attitude
  • Comply with attendance and dress code policies
  • Participate in trainings and meetings
  • Respect HIPAA regulations
  • Provide assistance to nursing staff
  • Participate in resident leisure activities
  • Serve and assist residents in dining room
  • Take on special projects as assigned
  • Perform other reasonable duties
