Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED or equivalent
physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks
ability to handle cleaning equipment and supplies
ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
good communication skills in English
willingness to comply with facility policies and procedures
availability to work flexible shifts

Job Duties

Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the facility
uses cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies
cleans and disinfects resident rooms and bathrooms
cleans and disinfects kitchen and dining areas
wipes and dusts surfaces and cleans mirrors
vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes
removes and replaces linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets
stocks bathroom towels and washcloths
picks up and empties trash containers
checks and removes unauthorized food articles
maintains floors safe and clear of obstructions
loads washers and dryers and folds laundry
uses housekeeping supplies efficiently
assists in care of housekeeping equipment and reports malfunctions
notifies maintenance about issues
performs other duties as assigned
