Community House Mental Health Agency (CHMHA) is a dedicated organization committed to supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness within Seattle and King County. Known for fostering a family-like atmosphere, CHMHA ensures that each individual who comes through its doors feels welcomed, valued, and cared for. The agency provides comprehensive mental health support services, aiming to improve the quality of life for its residents by creating a safe and supportive environment. CHMHA integrates compassionate care with practical assistance to effectively address the challenges faced by those living with mental health conditions, reflecting its core values of respect, dignity, and inclusion.

Community House Mental Health Agency is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to become an integral part of its residential care team. This full-time role is essential to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe living environment for both staff and residents. This position provides a vital contribution to the overall wellbeing of the community house by creating a space that supports recovery and stability.

The role of Housekeeper involves daily cleaning tasks, operating various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, polishes, and buffers, and managing proper disposal of trash and used items after each shift. The Housekeeper keeps storage areas clean and organized, assists with inventory by informing the Residential Administrator of needed supplies, and promptly reports any maintenance issues for necessary repairs. The job requires working respectfully with staff and outside contractors while maintaining strict confidentiality concerning resident and staff information. Record-keeping consistent with agency, county, and state guidelines is also a key responsibility.

CHMHA places strong emphasis on work-life balance and supporting its employees with a robust set of benefits. This includes company-paid medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance, a 403B retirement plan with employer match, and access to continuing education credits to foster professional growth.
