Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to clean technical areas including IR, Cardiac Cath, Mother-Baby, NICU, OR, ED
- Ability to operate light floor cleaning equipment
- Ability to lift and transport patients in emergencies
- Physical stamina for reaching, standing, squatting, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Must wear protective equipment and clothing as required
- Indiana driver’s license and proof of insurance
- No prior experience required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to operate light floor cleaning equipment
- Ability to wear protective equipment including gowns, gloves, goggles, and rubber-soled closed-toe footwear
- Physical ability to lift and carry supplies weighing up to 35 pounds
- Ability to work evening shifts without weekend hours
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize patient units, office areas, clinics, treatment and procedural areas, and public spaces
- Remove refuse and soiled linens
- Operate light floor cleaning equipment in patient care areas
- Lift and transport patients in emergencies
- Wear protective equipment as required
- Climb ladders as necessary
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment to support infection prevention
