Job Requirements
- able to communicate and interface effectively with hospital staff, patients, and visitors
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- able to follow written and verbal instructions
- able to stand and walk throughout the day
- able to lift up to 50lb
- work evening shift hours Monday through Friday and every other weekend
- maintain confidentiality and comply with safety standards

- comfortable working around blood and bodily fluids with personal protective equipment

Job Duties
- clean and disinfect various hospital areas to maximize infection prevention
- prepare patient rooms by replenishing supplies, cleaning floors, making beds
- collect, store, and dispose of medical-related waste safely
- perform special cleaning projects such as carpets and refrigerators
- maintain confidentiality of information
- comply with hospital safety standards
- communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors
