Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job
- Willingness to comply with hospital safety and infection control policies
- Reliable and punctual work attendance

Job Duties
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, hallways, offices, and public areas of the hospital by cleaning, disinfecting and replenishing supplies in assigned areas of the hospital
- Maintain environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures of the hospital and comply with regulatory requirements
- Account for cleaning inventory and equipment ensuring that the necessary tools are available to perform the job
- This expertise includes cardiac, cancer, neurosciences, women’s health, trauma, and advanced surgery including robotic and minimally invasive surgery
