Job Description

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport is a premier full-service hotel strategically located next to the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, providing convenient access to Seattle's vibrant downtown and key attractions such as Pike Place Market, The Space Needle, and Lumen Field via the nearby Link Light Rail station. This well-established hotel features 850 guest rooms and offers over 34,000 square feet of meeting space, catering to a diverse clientele that includes business travelers, leisure guests, and event attendees. Known for its friendly and inviting atmosphere, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport fosters a workplace culture that emphasizes teamwork, employee well-being, and career development opportunities.

The housekeeping department plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that the hotel is known for. As a member of the Housekeeping Team, the Room Attendant will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest service by ensuring each guest room is cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. This role is vital to the hotel's ongoing success and commitment to guest comfort and safety. The position offers full-time employment with flexible scheduling across shifts from 8:00 am to midnight, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, allowing for a dynamic and varied work experience.

Starting hourly wages are competitive, beginning at $23.84 during the probationary period with an increase to $26.49 after 90 days, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding dedication and performance. Beyond the attractive pay, employees enjoy a variety of benefits such as comprehensive health insurance coverage, dental and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, and mental health resources. Additional perks include paid sick leave and vacation time, a generous Go Hilton travel discount program offering 110 nights of discounted travel per calendar year, a pension plan contribution by Hilton, and access to an employee stock purchasing program. Team members also receive complimentary meals while on duty, free parking, company-provided uniforms, and access to employee assistance programs.

The role demands previous cleaning experience and open availability, encouraging applicants who are dependable, adaptable, and customer-focused. The ideal candidate demonstrates Hilton’s core values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a sense of urgency and discipline. Working at Hilton means joining a globally recognized leader in hospitality with a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and personal and professional growth. Hilton’s award-winning workplace culture has been ranked #1 Worlds Best Workplace by Great Place to Work, making it an exceptional environment for career advancement in the hospitality field. The hotel actively supports team members through initiatives such as debt-free education, career growth opportunities, recognition and rewards programs, and resource groups, all of which contribute to a thriving and supportive workplace.

Joining the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport as a housekeeper means being part of a dedicated team that not only prioritizes clean and comfortable guest experiences but also deeply values its employees’ welfare and career paths.
