Deerfield Supportive Living is a reputable community located in Deerfield, IL, dedicated to providing quality living environments for seniors through supportive and assisted living services. We are currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our Maintenance Department team. This position operates under a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with availability every other weekend, to provide essential support in maintaining cleanliness and safety across the community. The Housekeeper plays a pivotal role in preserving the hygienic standards of resident apartments, as well as public and common areas. Working closely with the Maintenance Director and the Executive Director, the successful candidate will ensure that all cleanliness protocols are rigorously followed and that every area of the community is presented in an optimal condition.
This role is integral not only in supporting the physical environment but also in contributing to the positive and respectful atmosphere that defines Deerfield Supportive Living. The ideal candidate will possess prior housekeeping experience, preferably in independent or assisted living settings, and demonstrate a compassionate and dependable work ethic. They will be responsible for performing daily cleaning duties compliant with federal, state, and local regulations while interacting with residents, families, staff, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy.
Beyond routine cleaning, the Housekeeper at Deerfield Supportive Living will support departmental standards and policies, ensuring a warm and safe environment that meets established health and safety guidelines. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Required to complete state training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work weekdays and every other weekend
- Strong communication skills
- Must meet health requirements and pass background checks
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred, ideally in independent living, assisted living, or supportive living
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of required state training
- Experience working with seniors strongly preferred

Job Duties
