The environment at Hartsfield Village emphasizes not only high medical integrity but also a strong sense of team spirit among staff and a welcoming, attractive atmosphere for patients and visitors alike. This commitment fosters a caring, compassionate, and personal connection among the team and with those they serve.

The Housekeeping position at Hartsfield Village, specifically within the CVI Rehab at Powers Health, plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and attractiveness of various areas including patient, non-patient, and public spaces. This part-time role requires a flexible schedule, with shifts running weekdays from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm and weekends from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, including every other weekend and alternating holidays. The role demands an individual who possesses good communication skills and a willingness to adapt to scheduling needs to ensure a consistent, high standard of hygiene throughout the facility. Responsibilities encompass dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, trash removal, and replacing soaps, sanitizers, and other supplies. Additionally, the Housekeeper responds promptly to urgent cleaning requests from staff and residents to maintain a safe and pleasant environment. The role also involves assisting in laundry services, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly are essential for success in this role. Effective communication in English, both written and verbal, is required to collaborate efficiently with residents and team members. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in a healthcare setting. The role is not only about providing a clean environment but also about contributing to the overall wellbeing and recovery of residents by supporting a hygienic and comfortable living space.

In recognition of its employees' efforts, Hartsfield Village offers a comprehensive benefits package, especially for full-time employees. Key benefits include medical, dental, vision, and prescription plan options, as well as employee wellness programs, a retirement plan with employer match, paid time off (PTO), and tuition reimbursement opportunities. The workplace culture is positive and values achievement and teamwork, providing ongoing opportunities for growth and development. Additionally, full-time staff have the option of pay-in-lieu of benefits, offering flexibility to suit diverse employee needs.
