Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
minimum 1 year experience in environmental services preferred
ability to perform physical activities related to cleaning duties
capability to follow instructions and adhere to established cleaning protocols
reliable and punctual
ability to work flexible shifts

Job Qualifications

High school diploma/GED preferred
1 year environmental services experience preferred
knowledge of cleaning procedures and use of cleaning equipment
ability to follow health and safety protocols
strong attention to detail
good communication skills

Job Duties

Cleans and maintains assigned area of the hospital in a neat orderly, sanitary, and attractive condition according to established policies and procedures
uses proper equipment, cleaning materials, supplies and cleaning solutions according to procedure
completes checklist daily and turns it in to the Director or crew leader at the end of the shift
sweeps, damp mops and waxes floors
vacuums rugs, carpets, upholstery and draperies
dusts furniture, washes walls, equipment and high touch areas
participates in special projects as assigned
