The role offered is for a Housekeeper who will be responsible for maintaining both patient and non-patient care areas within the hospital in a safe, clean, and attractive condition. This position involves performing routine cleaning and disinfecting tasks by following a comprehensive 7-step cleaning process designed to eliminate infection risks and promote a healthy environment. The Housekeeper will actively engage in infection control practices, including universal precautions and safety protocols, during their day-to-day duties. Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment, storage areas, and environmental closets orderly, as well as performing floor maintenance tasks in accordance with departmental policies. This role aligns with Service First principles, reflecting the hospital's dedication to providing exceptional service and support. The Housekeeper also supports hospital-wide competency requirements and adheres to both hospital and departmental policies and procedures. This position mainly operates on the 3rd shift, from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, accommodating hospital operations during night hours. No prior experience is required, however, one year of housekeeping experience is preferred. Educational requirements include a minimum equivalent of a high school diploma or the acceptable combination of education and relevant experience.
