Job Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to follow simple verbal and written instructions
  • previous work experience in a housekeeping role strongly preferred
  • physical ability to complete errands throughout the building and grounds
  • ability to perform physical activities such as reaching, standing, pushing, pulling, repetitive motion, and lifting objects up to 20 lbs

Job Duties

  • Perform a variety of housekeeping duties including observing and reporting broken or damaged furnishings and equipment
  • maintain equipment and supplies
  • communicate with patients or clients based on training when applicable
  • attend departmental meetings and training sessions
  • deliver, set up, or break down chairs and other items for meetings
  • support cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility
  • assist with errands and physical tasks as needed
