Job Requirements
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have knowledge of rooms assigned including inventory and restocking
- Knowledgeable in cleaning techniques for furniture and furnishings
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment
- Ability to identify and report maintenance issues
- Must be able to read signs and follow instructions
- Knowledge of fire, safety, and security requirements
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 45 lbs independently
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of industrial cleaning equipment
- Basic problem identification and reporting skills
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Understanding of fire, safety, and security requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience is preferred
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual tasks
Job Duties
- Work independently to clean and maintain assigned rooms
- Inventory and restock supplies and amenities
- Use proper cleaning techniques on various furniture and furnishings
- Operate cleaning tools including vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and buffers
- Identify and report maintenance problems
- Make decisions regarding damaged property and supplies in rooms
- Alert management about guest treatment concerns
