Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must have knowledge of rooms assigned including inventory and restocking
  • Knowledgeable in cleaning techniques for furniture and furnishings
  • Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment
  • Ability to identify and report maintenance issues
  • Must be able to read signs and follow instructions
  • Knowledge of fire, safety, and security requirements
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 45 lbs independently

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of industrial cleaning equipment
  • Basic problem identification and reporting skills
  • Ability to read and follow instructions
  • Understanding of fire, safety, and security requirements
  • Prior housekeeping experience is preferred
  • Strong physical stamina to perform manual tasks

Job Duties

  • Work independently to clean and maintain assigned rooms
  • Inventory and restock supplies and amenities
  • Use proper cleaning techniques on various furniture and furnishings
  • Operate cleaning tools including vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and buffers
  • Identify and report maintenance problems
  • Make decisions regarding damaged property and supplies in rooms
  • Alert management about guest treatment concerns
