As a key part of our maintenance team, the Housekeeping department plays an essential role in ensuring that every area within our facility is sanitary, attractive, and well-kept. We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team who will contribute to our mission by ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and service throughout the property.

The Housekeeper position involves a range of cleaning and servicing tasks necessary to upkeep the building areas under the supervision of the housekeeping supervisor. This role demands attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing duties that promote a sanitary and orderly environment, directly enhancing the living experience for residents and the overall appeal of the facility. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends if required
  • physical stamina to perform manual tasks
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • reliable and punctual
  • able to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior housekeeping or custodial experience is desirable
  • ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • good interpersonal and communication skills
  • physically able to perform cleaning tasks and lift moderate weights
  • trustworthy and reliable
  • basic understanding of cleaning products and equipment

Job Duties

  • clean and sanitize assigned areas including common spaces and resident rooms
  • perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
  • empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
  • replenish supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials
  • report any maintenance or safety issues to the housekeeping supervisor
  • assist in organizing and maintaining housekeeping equipment
  • uphold facility cleanliness standards at all times
