Village Health Care at The Glen is currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join its team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, organized, and inviting spaces that contribute to the well-being of residents. The housekeeper will play a crucial role in upholding the community's standards by ensuring all areas, including resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, meet stringent cleanliness and hygiene standards. By maintaining a clean environment, the housekeeper helps foster a comfortable and safe living space where residents can thrive.
The position is a full-time role, operating on a schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a rotation of four days on and two days off. This schedule supports a balanced work-life integration for staff. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining resident rooms and communal areas, performing deep cleaning when necessary, sanitizing spaces, and managing housekeeping supplies and equipment. The housekeeper will also need to report any maintenance issues and supply shortages promptly to ensure seamless operations. This position requires a motivated, dependable individual with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
