The role available is for an on-site maintenance and housekeeping staff member responsible for keeping the facility in excellent condition. The position involves a variety of cleaning and minor maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, vacuuming floors, and cleaning restrooms and common areas. In addition, the role includes ensuring safety during weather-related conditions by keeping walkways and entrances clear and responding promptly and compassionately to any resident emergencies. A key part of the job is performing routine property checks to maintain building security and reporting any system issues or unsafe conditions immediately.
Scheduled shifts for this position include late night, evening, and morning hours throughout the week, emphasizing the need for reliability and flexibility. Salary ranges from $16.16 to $24.99 per hour, reflecting the position’s skill, responsibility level, and company standards. This role requires a high level of organization, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively with the team. Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions and safety protocols carefully are essential for success in this position. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping experience
- basic maintenance skills a plus
- proficient with speaking and reading the English language

Job Duties
- Ensure building and grounds are kept clean and sanitized
- keep all walkways and entranceways clear and safe during weather related emergencies
- sweep, scrub, mop, vacuum, wax and buff floors, remove refuse, clean restrooms and other common areas
- ensure building security by performing property checks and monitoring pager system
- respond to resident emergencies in a caring and compassionate way
- address concerns and cleaning needs of the facility in a timely and professional manner
- perform minor repairs such as unclogging toilet and changing lightbulbs
- report any system failures and/or unsafe conditions in a timely manner
- ensure that residents and families receive the highest quality of service
- perform other duties as assigned
