Job Requirements

Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, stooping, lifting objects up to 25 pounds
Must provide own transportation and equipment if independent contractor
Must comply with company policies and regulatory standards such as COMAR, CARF, CSA, and OHCQ
Must complete and submit all required documentation including invoices, cleaning checklists, and schedules on time
Maintain confidentiality of client records
Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Ability to undergo background checks and participate in training and safety drills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Mandatory compliance with infection control and safety protocols

Job Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or commercial cleaning
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and cleaning chemicals
Strong time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
Preferred certifications include Certified Custodial Technician (CCT), Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS), OSHA Hazard Communication Training, Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) Certification, Bloodborne Pathogen Certification
Business license if operating as independent contractor
General liability insurance
Bonding insurance
Workers' compensation insurance if hiring employees
Valid driver’s license if operating company vehicles

Job Duties

Clean residences 1-2 times per week and offices daily on weekdays
Clean company-owned vehicles weekly
Perform cleaning based on schedules and checklists
Submit daily cleaning checklists and weekly cleaning schedules by deadlines
Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance needs
Manage inventory of supplies and equipment
Participate in audits and maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols
