This particular opportunity is for a full-time Housekeeping team member located at 1000 H St, Chula Vista, California. This non-management role serves as a crucial part of the housecleaning and guest service experience, with an hourly pay rate of $23.50. The Housekeeping team member plays an essential role in creating a welcoming and immaculate environment for guests, ensuring each room meets Marriott’s high standards of cleanliness and comfort.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms to the highest level of hospitality standards, offering a “home away from home” experience for visitors staying from a single night to a full week. Key responsibilities include replenishing guest amenities and supplies, making beds and neatly folding linens, removing trash, linens, and service items from rooms, as well as interacting with guests in a courteous and professional manner. Additionally, this role entails cleaning duties such as dusting, polishing, removing marks from walls and furniture, vacuuming carpets, and floor care tasks. The team member will also be expected to uphold a professional appearance with a clean uniform and comply with safety standards by completing required training and certification prior to employment.
