The current opening is for an EVS Technician / Janitor position based in Oxnard and Camarillo, California. This role is a night shift assignment, running from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, with 40 hours per week. The position offers a pay rate of $24 per hour and is contract to hire, presenting the opportunity for long-term employment depending on performance and organizational needs. The role primarily involves cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms following discharge, a critical function in healthcare facilities to maintain infection control and ensure patient safety. Responsibilities include thoroughly cleaning high-touch areas, furniture, and medical equipment, replenishing linens and supplies, and managing waste disposal. Candidates must adhere strictly to infection control protocols and use approved cleaning agents to minimize infection risks. Reporting of maintenance issues or safety hazards is also essential to maintaining a safe environment.
