We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Travelodge/Penny's Diner located in Belen, New Mexico. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas, thereby contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of the property. The Housekeeper position involves daily cleaning of assigned guest rooms following established hotel standards, restocking room carts with necessary supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment used. You will be responsible for reporting room status and any damages or missing items to the Housekeeping Department promptly. Handling and securing assigned pass keys safely during shifts is a priority, as is managing lost and found items with proper documentation.
Additional duties include performing deep cleaning as assigned, collaborating closely with both housekeeping and maintenance teams to enhance guest satisfaction, and following proper procedures for safe handling of cleaning agents and supplies. Professional and courteous interaction with guests is expected, along with adherence to the direction provided by the Executive Housekeeper. Job Duties
- Clean assigned guest rooms daily according to hotel standards
- Restock room carts with supplies and maintain cleanliness of equipment
- Report room status, damages, or missing items to the Housekeeping Department
- Safely handle and secure assigned pass keys during each shift
- Turn in lost and found items and ensure proper documentation
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned
