Liberty Place Charleston, a Hilton Club, is a new and breathtaking establishment featuring 100 suites and is notably located on the historic site of the Liberty Tree. As a distinguished extension of the Hilton brand, Liberty Place Charleston blends history with modern luxury, offering exceptional accommodations and an unforgettable guest experience. Currently, Liberty Place Charleston is looking to add a dedicated Housekeeper to their esteemed team. The role of Housekeeper is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that guests and owners expect. The key responsibilities involve performing various hotel housekeeping services to ensure guest rooms are impeccably cleaned and prepared according to established standards. This includes not only basic cleaning but also maintaining inventory, managing housekeeping carts, and collaborating with management to promptly report maintenance needs and support facility upkeep.

This full-time position typically involves working 30 to 40 hours per week, primarily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, flexibility in the schedule is essential to meet the demands of the business, which includes working weekends and holidays as necessary. Job Requirements

  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience
  • Open and flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • Able to bend, stoop, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to work full shift walking/standing with or without accommodation
  • Anticipates customer needs
  • Builds confidence in self and others with honest and dependable interactions

Job Duties

  • Prepare all assigned units for guest arrival
  • Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly manner
  • Report any maintenance problems
  • Maintain cleanliness of carts and ensure supplies and equipment are in a neat and orderly appearance
  • Assist management in maintaining inventory of linen and supplies
  • Perform various housekeeping tasks to uphold cleanliness standards
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned by housekeeping management
