The Housekeeper role is critical within Castle Group's operational framework, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all common areas and amenities throughout the community. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping or related field
  • knowledge of MSDS
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment
  • basic literacy and numeracy

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • 1+ year experience as a housekeeper or similar role
  • knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
  • skilled in operating mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, leaf blowers, and pressure washers
  • basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize effectively
  • basic computer hardware/software knowledge
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • excellent attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Maintains cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and elevators
  • removes litter, trash, and debris from all community areas
  • empties trash receptacles, ashtrays, and waste baskets regularly and disposes waste properly
  • vacuums, sweeps, polishes, and mops floors
  • straightens furniture in common areas as needed
  • dusts and polishes furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces to maintain neat appearances
  • polishes and cleans windows, glass doors, brass, mirrors, and other surfaces to ensure they are free of smudges and streaks
  • cleans and disinfects kitchen areas including countertops, sinks, and appliances
  • restocks supplies such as towel, toilet paper, and soap dispensers
  • sanitizes all bathroom bowls, sinks, partitions, and urinals daily or as needed
  • cleans and organizes clubhouse including restrooms, shower stalls, fitness equipment, storage rooms
  • assists with setup, breakdown, and cleaning of meeting rooms for events
  • maintains supply and PPE inventory and assists supervisor with ordering supplies
  • assists with hurricane preparation before, during and after storms
  • completes checklists and work orders as assigned
  • reports equipment malfunctions and unsafe conditions to management
  • maintains a safe and secure work environment throughout property
  • ensures safety precautions and proper use of PPE during duties
  • performs other assigned duties as needed
