The role of Housekeeper at HCSG is essential in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in long-term care facilities. This position involves performing daily housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices, all while following strict sanitation and infection control protocols. - ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
- capacity to stand sit bend and walk for long periods
- capable of performing routine repetitive tasks continuously
- ability to work safely around cleaning products
- compliance with covid-19 vaccination policies
- residency within the service area
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required
- maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants administration and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks
- compliance with covid-19 vaccination policies
- must be able to lift carry a maximum of 50 pounds push pull a maximum of 50 pounds stand sit bend and walk for extended periods
- must be able to perform routine repetitive tasks continuously
- must be able to work around cleaning products
- able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine repetitive tasks daily
- residency within the service area required
Job Duties
- perform daily housekeeping tasks including cleaning resident rooms bathrooms common areas and offices
- ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines
- maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
- follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment
- interact positively with residents staff and guests providing excellent customer service
- all other duties as assigned
